Strike a pose at Prospect

As the city prepares for the annual BID Fashion Week we are on the hunt for Hull’s quirkiest pose.

On May 3 and 4, 2012 between 11am – 4pm the Prospect Centre is embracing the week long celebrations as shoppers get the chance to pose with giant Fashion Week props such as an 8ft lipstick or an enormous hairdryer. The best pictures will be uploaded to Facebook for people to vote for the quirkiest pose and the winner will receive a selection of beauty products courtesy of Boots.

Two ranges in Boots, No7 and Dior, will be offering fashion fans free mini makeovers as well as giving tips on how to get the perfect make up look and describing all of the latest trends.

We are also giving away the pictures as a Fashion Week souvenir and the centre’s Perfume Shop is launching its range of special fragrances and will be handing out free testers. Our fully trained beauty therapist will also be offering mini manicures, eyebrow threading, neck and shoulder massaging plus lots more! Another store joining forces with the celebrations is Evans, which is giving away 20% discount cards to shoppers, is also hosting a competition to win £100 vouchers. All entrants need to do is guess how much the clothes on the Fashion Week mannequin are worth.
