Prospect centre have sponsored the first ever Hull & East Riding Mumbler Awards to celebrate and recognise the best of things to do for families in East Yorkshire.
Over 16,000 votes were cast by members of the public, voting for their favourite family things to do locally. Now the winners have been revealed!
The Hull & East Riding Mumbler held their first ever Family Awards this year to celebrate and recognise the best of things to do for families in East Yorkshire, the winners were announced on 5th June 2020. The general public were encouraged to nominate their favourites things to do with children in the local area across 8 categories. The top 5 most nominated in each category were then taken forward as finalists and the public then voted again for the winners.
Results were therefore announced online. It has been a great boost to the local businesses and organisations in the finals, many who are still closed due to the Covid19 pandemic or struggling to stay in business.
The results were announced last night, 3000 people watched the live video, and the winners can now (finally!) celebrate!
