One of the country’s most recognisable celebrities will be coming to Hull later this month

Singer and reality star Peter Andre will be coming to W H Smiths in Prospect Centre, in Hull City Centre for a special book signing of his latest release.

Store manager Sophie Milner said Andre sent a special request to come to Hull after freeing up a day in his current tour.

“He was already on tour for his new book and he decided to request an extra day out of it,” she said.

“He decided to pick Hull and I got a phone call this morning who said that Peter Andre wanted to come to Hull and could we fit this into our shop. I was jumping at the chance because it would be great to get him in.”

Andre will be visiting the shop around 3pm on October 19 to sign copies and promote his new autobiography, Between Us.

The store manager said tickets would be available on a first-come-first-served basis for those who wanted to meet him.

“We are expecting around 300 people at least,” she said.

“Usually, we do tickets but because it’s happening so soon we have to do first come first served, so we are expecting a big queue for people who want to come.

“We are not sure how long he is going to stay for, but we think he will have about 300 books to sign and then that will be it. It will be great for the shopping centre and nice to get someone like Peter Andre to Hull as well.”
