Thursday marked the launch of Hull City’s brand new 2015-16 kit at Prospect Shopping Centre and to celebrate players, including Tom Huddlestone, David Meyler, Ahmed Elmohamady, Andrew Robertson and former striker Dean Windass, came along meet the fans and sign autographs.
Hundreds of fans turned up and the atmosphere was amazing. The event was held the in the Centre’s strEAT food court, which meant shoppers could grab a bite to eat while they waited. Despite the event not starting until 4.30pm, the queues had been forming since around 2pm!
The event was attended by regional and national press and received a great reception on social media. The event follows the big move of Tiger Leisure, the club’s official merchandise store, to the Centre from another shopping outlet last month.
It was a fabulous afternoon enjoyed by all and the Centre are very much looking forward to hosting events with the club in the future.
