INVESTIGATIONS are underway in Prospect Shopping Centre after spirits and zombies were reported to be roaming the arcades.
Soldiers from the Scarecorp Cobra Unit, as well as 30 Private Investigators, have been drafted in to investigate the Hull shopping centre after the paranormal outbreak on Halloween.
Sources from the Centre believe the outbreak started after the unearthing of a forgotten section of the old Hull Royal Infirmary, which used to stand on the site where Prospect Centre is today.
Unit 42, which has been dubbed as Ground Zero, has been off limits as investigations continue.
Zombies have been seen causing havoc on the streets of Hull throughout Halloween after breaking out of Ground Zero, with Scarecorp Cobra Units commissioned to contain Hull’s zombie population.
An employee of Prospect Centre, who was too scared to be named, said: “Prospect Shopping Centre has been the site for many hauntings since it opened in 1974.
“The hauntings have increased since the unearthing of old part of Hull Royal Infirmary, so staff members are delighted an investigation team has been called upon to deal with the zombies and spirits.”
It is anticipated that the 30 Private Investigators will be there until late, performing séances and call outs to rid the Centre of paranormal activity. Investigations are expected to continue deep into the night.
